Sugar hair removal is considerably less painful than conventional paraffin wax for many people because it only sticks to hair, not the skin.
Sugar is much kinder to the skin; it doesn’t need any special pre or post lotions to repair the damage of waxing, as there is no damage to repair.
Sugar is effective on all types of hair and totally water soluble; there is no sticky residue on your skin or clothes.
Sugar paste is simply made from sugar, water and lemon juice with no harmful chemicals.
Sugar is used at just above body temperature.
Sugar paste is water soluble so you will never leave your treatment feeling sticky!
Sugar cannot stick to live skin cells. Live skin cells contain water, so because the sugar paste is water soluble it doesn't stick to them. This means less discomfort for you and less trauma to the skin.
There are two methods of applying the sugar paste;
By hand against the direction of growth, so the sugar paste is removed in a flicking motion with the direction of growth,
By spatula in the direction of growth and it is removed with paper strips against the direction of growth.
